Girls World Slumber Party 09

Girls World Slumber party was a blast...... Girls ate Fried Chicken, macaroni and Cheese, baked ziti, fruit, veggies, chips,and dip. They made ice cream sundae's, made a video, and watched movies. Oh yeah they managed to do manicures also. When the girls woke up they sat around the Pink Christmas tree, and recieved gifts donated by New York Cares Winter Wishes program. Girls World:Game Night 2009

On January 30th the girls world of 2009 had the annual game night. The purpose of this event is to have a little comepiti0n between the girls and their parents. But not all the parents showed up but we sure did have fun. Game night include many games mostly for us girls. Many girls had a lot of fun. Before we played games the girls and I had appetizers such as chips, dounuts and more. Then the games began. We had games like Jenga:Girl Talk, Monoply(boutique version), Connect four, Card games, Chutes & ladders, Life: high school edition, Uno amd many more. The game I played the most with my friends was Jenga:Girl Talk. The game included questions that bascially girls could answer like Who was the last person you texted?, If you had one wish, what would it be?, Who's your crush?, Who's your #1 hero and why? and etc. The other girls mostly played the other games. Game Night was really fun not only for myself but for the other members of girls world.

Those who are attending the trip on Friday to celebrate the Chinese New Year need to be here at the center by 4:15pm. The Van will pull off at 4:30pm SHARP!!!!!!

Girls World First Annual Game Night will be held on January 30th, 2009 from 6pm - 8pm. I encourage all parents to come reconnect with their daughters while playing some fun games. Donations needed: Chips, Soda, Juice, Cups, Cookies, and napkins

Empress Gala will be held on February 13, 2009 @ Oakridge in Forrest Park. Colors for the evening is Red, Gold, Black. Girls are encouraged to dress in the evening colors. Dresses are optional.... (But please dress your best) Donations needed: Food, chinese style decorations in red, gold or black, drinks, refreshments, and three volunteers.
